Save-The-Date To Show RCP The Love At Our First 401Gives, 4/1

Updated: Feb 28

We're excited to announce the Reentry Campus Program will join the movement to spread love to the many nonprofits in our communities through our participation in 401Gives on April 1, 2024

The Reentry Campus Program believes that education is the pathway to true freedom.

However, many incarcerated and formerly incarcerated people are unsure how to navigate an often opaque system of higher education. And once they return home, they face balancing survival with working towards completing a degree. They're more likely to succeed when they receive academic advising and support that meets their unique needs.

To help our students reach the opportunities that education affords them, we do everything we can to give them the necessary tools to go to college, including assisting them as they deal with the costs of taking a college course.

So, for our first 401Gives foray, we're raising $3,000 to purchase books for our incarcerated and formerly incarcerated students. The average cost of a college textbook is about $90 each and can be cost-prohibitive for many students. Alleviating school expenses like the burdensome cost of college textbooks is essential in setting students up for success.

We can't do it without the help of our community, so here are a few ways you can help us now and during 401Gives:
